The Anderson Lake Pathway is open to cross country skiing, hiking and biking. There are three cross country ski loops on the site ranging from 2.5 – 4.3 miles in length. These are maintained by the State of Michigan. There is also the Flacks Lake Pathway, which is a beautiful 3 mile walk or bike ride. Facilities are available at the campground and boat launch. This site does require a recreational passport.

Directions To Anderson Lake Pathway
The Anderson Lake Pathway is located on MC 557 south of the town of Gwinn, Michigan. As you travel west from Gwinn on M35 you will cross the Escanaba River bridge. Continue your journey a short distance until you see MC557 on your left. Turn left and continue until you see the sign for the Anderson Lake Campground on your right. Turn right and you can either park at the road entrance and enter the trail system there or you can park at the campground and use that trailhead.
